General

Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship within Canada (except Nunavut, Yukon, and Northwest Territories)! However, our shipping policy will continue to update so check back often to see if we ship to your location!

Where is your matcha from?

Our matcha is from local farms and producers in Japan!

What is the shelf life of matcha and how should I store it?

An unopened can of matcha typically will have a shelf life of 8-12 months. Once opened, it’s best consumed within 2 months.

What is your shipping policy?

We process orders Monday-Friday (excluding holidays), and orders are shipped within 1-3 days. Please expect an additional few days for processing during peak periods, or holidays. We appreciate your patience!

For more information, please visit: Shipping/Returns/Cancellation Policy.

Is your matcha ceremonial grade?

Our matcha is stone-milled with the leaves from the first harvest. Since ‘ceremonial matcha’ is not an official or regulated term, we don’t use this term on our packaging or in our product description.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once your order has been processed, we’re no longer able to cancel your order. Please contact us if there are special circumstances, and we’ll try to help resolve issues whenever possible.

Preparation

What’s the best temperature for matcha?

We generally use 160°F/71°C water to prepare our matcha! You generally don’t want super high temperatures as higher temps will burn the matcha.

I don’t have a whisk or bowl at home, what can I use?

That’s okay! We’ve tested our matcha without a whisk and matcha bowl to ensure that it’s accessible by everyone! You can add our matcha and water to a small jar and shake vigorously :)

How do I find my perfect matcha ratio?

We believe everyone’s tastebuds are different :). We don’t think there’s really a ‘perfect’ ratio, some people like their matcha a little stronger (4g+ of matcha), or some people prefer their matcha slightly lighter (2g of matcha). We encourage you to keep trying to find out what you like the best! You can also check Suzu’s blog for more fun recipes!
